Noritake at Bayside
It is probably fair to say that we all wish we knew the collectable of the future. We have shifted to collecting small nonperishable, non-breakable, value-increasing items – what we loosely referred to as ‘cynical collecting.’ Of course, having been quite eclectic in our collections over the years, the theory and the practical are still two different things, with items - outside the scope continuing to take our fancy and find their way into our lives.

A visit to the Bayside Antique & Collectables Centre at Cleveland is a journey of discovery. The centre’s outside appearance gives no hint of what awaits inside,
although warmly greeted by our Roller Girl who stands outside the centre each day.

Collecting in Celeveland, Redlands, not Ohio
Bayside Antique & Collectables Centre opened in Nov 2008 and the Centre’s owners, Rob and Di Metcalfe are very happy with their customers’ responses and dealers’ successes in just over one year. Certainly there has been no downturn in collecting passions in this part of Queensland, possibly due to the fantastic range of stock.

First year of fun
Bayside Antique & Collectables, just a 30 minute drive from Brisbane CBD. Rob and Di Medcalfe opened Bayside's doors on 2 November 2008 and are incedulous that a year has passed so happliy and successfully, with many repeat customers in just twelve months.
